The Aftermath and the Haunted Village
Morgana’s death and Elspeth’s disappearance didn’t end the villagers' fears. In fact, the strange occurrences only increased. Animals still fell ill, strange symbols appeared, and crops died under the full moon. Some claimed Morgana’s spirit haunted the stake where she was burned, and others reported seeing Elspeth’s face, pale and watchful, on the river’s surface on foggy nights.
Today, the legend lives on. Locals claim that on mist-laden evenings, faint whispers drift from the caves, as if Morgana and Elspeth are still there, waiting to exact their revenge.
